Shu Yang, so named because it is located in the north of shu Shui (in ancient times, the north of water wascalled Yang), was named the "Hometown of Chinese Calligraphy" in 2013.The work adopts the traditional Chi-nese calligraphic art form of running hand and derives a design based on the theme of "North of Mu shui", high-lighting the elegant, smooth and dynamic characteristics of cursive calligraphy as a whole. The overall designhighlights the fluidity and dynamism of cursive calligraphy, fully reflecting the dynamism of "water" and integrat-ing the essence and charm of traditional calligraphy into the modern sculpture, highlighting the infinite charm oftraditional culture.Meanwhile, the work is made of stainless steel with a mirror finish to reflect Shu Yang's spiritof innovation and the development of the new era, highlighting the impressive 'Shu Yang Speed' and 'Shu YangExperience' for which Shu Yang is renowned nationwide for its reform and innovation.
